Back to uni - now - and more rants!
I, for the second year, enrolled online - brilliant but does that beat the queues? The answer is annoyingly - and collectively "NO!"
Why, I do not understand do I have to fill in a form online - join a queue to get my ID card, and then i'm told if I want to join the NUS I have to join a completely new queue - only to be told that I have to fill in ANOTHER online form before I can join the queue. BIG FAT HAIRY ARSES - but at least I was told before I got to the front of the queue - there was a guy infront of me the second time in the queue and he waited for 45 mins before being told he had to fill in this form. Unsuprisingly he was going to complain to his Union rep ... D'oh.
But hey just one more queue left now - for a sports Union card - £20 though :(

My University Loves M$ - so much so that it seems to have forotten to put its documents into the "Portable Document Format (PDF)" and instead decides to publish files in .doc format! Arrrggh - Can they expect us to afford Microsoft Office? or are they just encouraging piracy?
